After several years of extensive travel
as a real estate franchise executive
with Strout Realty, I returned to my
first love: mountain and recreational
real estate. Mariposa for us was and is
the perfect place to live. Quiet, safe,
beautiful, and full of our amazing
friends.
My wife Kay and I owned Sierra Gold Real Estate for over 20 years; growing it into a large and successful business because we purposely looked for ways to give back to our community. (Living here is like going back in time; you earn respect by showing up, sharing, and caring.)
I'm actively involved in the community;
having served as Director of John C.
Fremont Hospital, Past President of the
Board of Realtors and the
Mariposa
Rotary Club. I enjoy football,
automobiles, and travel. I initiated a
project for Mariposa students to go to
What we most enjoy is helping integrate our buyers into the community by introducing them to people who share their interests, inviting them to local events, or just sharing our experience of Mariposa with them. I also specialize in out-of-area sellers who need and deserve extra communication when making long distance transactions.
